I am Travis McClendon and in my 28 years of guiding in Arizona, outfitter fees have only gotten more expensive, leaving most of us on the outside looking in. Well I’m here to change all of that! Our members don’t pay for the outfitted hunts, I do! Guiding isn’t always easy, and the harvest is never guaranteed but I am here to give the hunt back to the hunter!My Story
My name is Travis McClendon and I have been hunting in the west since I was 10 years old. My dad, John McClendon started a very successful outfitting company called McClendon’s & Sons Guide service in the early 1980s and was a pioneer in the outdoor film industry at a time when very few were filming hunts. I went to work for my dad when I turned 18, over 28 years ago and my passion for hunting and the outdoors has remained high ever since. In recent years I have watched as Outfitter and Guide fees have become more and more expensive, making hunting a rich man sport. So, I created a solution to change that and make hunting with a guide available to anyone who wants to maximize their hunt of a lifetime with the help of a real professional. That solution is called the Zero Guide Fees program. This program uses the power of a large membership base to make it possible for those who desire to use an outfitter the means to do so. Our members pay a small yearly membership fee and in return, we pay for their fully outfitted hunts when they draw.

WHO WE ARE
Zero Guide Fees is comprised of two primary founding members as well as many key people who have helped make this program a reality. Like most hunters, we too, have wanted to go on outfitted hunts and just didn’t have the funds to do so. So we created a program that allows anyone, with any budget, the ability to have a fully outfitted hunt without having to sell the farm to do it. It is our belief that quality outfitted hunts CAN be affordable to everyone under the Zero Guide Fees Program and that this program will allow more people and younger people to experience the sheer euphoria of a guided trophy hunt in the West.
